My second BBCh

I did a lil better than the last time .. but i need to improve a lot!
Race Rout:
The route of the race was moderate for in terms of difficulty, and the total distance was 50Kms. There was one major climb of about 300-400Meters of a gradiant of 9% ... where we saw many bikers pushing their bikes. There was an amazinf and alomost strainght downhill, whare majority of the bikers would have broken their previous record of hoighest speed. I touched 72Kms/hour :)

As a Team :
The spectrum racing that i am part of, had a strategy that did not work because after 10Kms we did  not have a trace of our team members other than me and Dr. Aravind. But me and Doc were togather for most of part. we left behind a lot of bikers ...!
How was it for me:
I enjoyed the race but not happy with result :) .. as usual unstisfied soul .... I finished the route in a min lesser than 100 minutes .. well not bad .,.. the average speed was just above 30 :( .. stood 9th for this race.
METhink :
I need to do a lot of hill training .. i am pathetic at that .. and u also need to imptrove my lung capacity. ... I am am going to make it all happen by next race .. !! I will see it here on this page :)

  1. It was fun riding with you mate! And, we definitely need to work on strategy for the next one. You're the best I know at strategising, so we look forward to some "gyan" from you :)

Strange to hear this from someone who does Nandi climb seven times in a day...

Congratulations from finishing in top 10.

btw thanks a lot for pulling me into BBCh. Motivated by the members attitude to finish my first 50km on bike.

  5. @satish : 82 mins is tough ... i am sure i should be able to bring down the 99 mins to "less-than 90 mins"
